Nature Detectives Day 5

After Gratitude Circle, we practiced their original play and made a filmed version. Then we took a snack break and went to obstacle course.

Next we did a silly challenge called "Tangled" (two partners are tangled and have to figure out how to untangle without breaking string or taking them off).

Then we finished our adventure to find the last piece of the time machine. The journal led them to the greenhouse where there was a large puzzle everyone helped finish and a sheet with questions like :How many ants? How many dragonflies? Which helped open a red box. In the box were 20 words. Everyone took a word and together the message told them to look for a stone wall and color red. We found the box to hold the crystals, connect the clock to and put the leaves in. Everyone collected ebony spleenwort to send to the year 2039 and helped cure the disease.

Then we ate lunch and finished any final details on their automatons.

Next we went to the creek. Lastly, they performed a live version of their play for parents.
