Lovely Land Day 3

After Gratitude Circle and a Categories Game (walk in a circle and name an insect that hasn’t been called out to keep going around the circle), we talked about the different layers of the Rainforest as we made our Rainforest books that included flora and wildlife from various rainforests. Then we played “Who Lives There?” (similar to 4 corners but with layers of rainforest). Next we looked at several common local insects and played “Go Find” to help remember and review all the plants, tracks and insects they’ve learned. Then after snack and obstacle course, we discussed plant adaptations and they designed a plant to survive in a specific biome. Lastly, we worked on their play during lunch and went to the creek.
