We started with Gratitude Circle and played Eagle Eye in the forest. Then we did the first step in an art project to create their own constellation. As the paint dried,  we discussed what a star and constellation is and acted out four constellation myths (Ursa Major and Minor, Bootes, Scorpius and Cassiopeia) as they found and marked the constellation on their “July 2026 Sky Chart”. They will take the chart home with them so they can try and find the constellations we learned about at home in their current positions in the  sky. After snack break and obstacle course, they  played “Starlink: Drawing Game” ( connect the stars to draw a secret word that others try to guess). Then they finished their Constellation Art by connecting the splatter paint stars and making up a myth to go with it. After lunch we went to the creek. Some explorers caught minnows, played with clay or worked on various digging projects LOL! During dismissal some played  Kubb, volleyball 4 square or Legos while waiting to be picked up.
