Lovely Land Day 3

After Gratitude Circle and a round of Bibbity Bibbity Bop, we talked about the different layers of the Rainforest as we made our Rainforest books that included flora and wildlife from various rainforests. We will finish the Forest Floor layer tomorrow. Then we played “Who Lives There?” (similar to 4 corners but with layers of rainforest). After a snack and obstacle course, we looked at several common local insects and played “Go Find” to help remember and review all the plants, animal tracks and insects they’ve learned. Then we played “Get Set Grow” (collect all the elements needed to grow from a seed to a plant before getting tagged). Lastly, we worked on their play during lunch and went to the creek.
