                  defeat the Winter King's spell

                  that has left many Spring 

                  spirits still in their winter

                  slumber.

10:15- 10:30  Snack (Bring your own)

10:30-11:30 Focused Study: 

                     Monday- Creating with

                     alternative sustainable

                     materials     

                     (Mycelium Biomaterial)

                     Tuesday - All about Bees

                    and making beeswax

                    candles 

 

                   

                    Wednesday-  Petrology: 

                     Identifying local rocks (their

                     ancient as well as modern

                     uses)

                     Thursday- Science of Light

                     What makes a rainbow?

                     Hands on exploration of

                     creating a rainbow

                     through refraction,

                     dispersion and learning

                     about the light spectrum.

                    Friday- Learning to identify

                    Native trees/plants by

                    completing Scavenger hunt

                    in teams

​

11:30-12:00 Lunch

12:00- 1:00 Hiking, exploring, and

                     playing at creek

​

1:00- 1:45     Writing/Producing own

                       play (plot and characters

                       unknown since it depends

                       on the kids’ input) *** Play

                       to be performed for

                       parents on Friday at 2pm**

1:45-2:00    Hike back to top of driveway

                     challenge: What is a Rube
