Afterschool Program

for Colham Ferry Elementary Students

@ Little Rose Nature Adventures

Using Nature Journals and Scavenger Hunts as a starting point, explorers will observe and question the natural world around them to create an “I wonder space” which will help focus our investigations and projects. The exact investigations or projects are unknown since they will be choosen by the explorers and guided using the Next Generation Science and Engineering Practices to create a unique experience. Topics could range from experimenting with the best fort building techniques to data collecting what type of birds live in Little Rose Forest. It all depends on what the individuals in the group are interested in.
